Ideas in Practice with Evelyn

A space where I explore how ideas unfold in practice through reflective inquiry, observation, and evolving forms of learning.

This podcast is an ongoing exploration of how thinking, awareness, and learning shift across different conditions and experiences. Beginning as a reflective observation project, the inquiry examines patterns, reactions, context, and changing cognitive states to better understand how ideas emerge, develop, and take shape in practice.

While episodes are currently being released publicly, additional episodes have already been developed as part of the continuing exploration of:

• awareness 
• thinking 
• learning 
• environmental influence 
• and changing cognitive conditions in AI-supported environments. 

Season 1 is a 10-episode exploratory inquiry into awareness, thinking, and cognitive experience across changing conditions. The podcast is one component of a broader practice-based inquiry that continues to evolve through observation papers, conference presentations, and creative works.

As the inquiry has evolved, it has expanded beyond podcast episodes into broader forms of public scholarship. The project now includes observation papers, creative companion practices, and conference presentations that examine how sustained reflective inquiry can contribute to understanding learning, reflection, and educational leadership. The paper, Learning Across States of Awareness: Reflective Inquiry and Educational Leadership, has been accepted for presentation at the Centre for Leadership & Diversity (CLD) 7th Annual International Conference, Ontario Institute for Studies in Education (OISE), University of Toronto, to be held October 30–31, 2026.

Reflective companion papers, visual frameworks, and presentation materials connected to the inquiry will also be released over time.
